men have all the positions of authority in the media, so they are seen as leaders, and they control how women are seen, meaning usually in a sexualized way.

the way the internet is set up by men perpetuates violence against women and makes it more inaccessible for women
6. How do unequal power relations offline shape online experiences of gender based violence?
online, offline relationships will just repeat themselves, meaning the ways men hurt women and are never held accountable remain.
7. What is an algorithm and how do algorithms reproduce sexism and racial inequality?
algorithms are the systems that collect our data and push new content for us to consume, but when they are created the programmers personal biases are in play, and usually these programmers are straight white men, who are likely to push preexisting discourses on us.
